we are one tonight

dreaming in the car while listening to my ipod. i love love love long trips, don't you? to be able to sit in the car for hours on end, watching the world go by while sweet music fills your ears. then a blue sea, even though the sky was a little grey, it was still warm. laughter of little children - brothers and sisters and cousins. a tiny cousin collecting jellyfish for her little dug "jellyfish pool". then three generations shopping along the tiny streets, little boutiques, a divine shoeshop and a dress that didn't quite fit. a new (pink) sarong. all the while texting with my best best friend, and someone sweet... Finally home after a long day, a lovely summery dinner cooking in the kitchen. another new day tomorrow, what adventures does it hold?♥

anne and another song

I am feeling very lucky today <3 I have been awarded 2 awards from my amazing bestie Seli of What I Heart! ^o^ Thankyou so very much Seli!

I am reading the lovely book Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery recently. Although a little slow moving compared to more recent novels (this one is more than 100 years old!), I am completely drawn in by by Anne's funny ways, and beautiful imagination. Also, the imagery discribed in this novel is simply heart warming.

One of my favourite Anne quotes is on page 245:

"Marilla, isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?"

Yet again I have been inspired by a Paramore song (surprise surprise!). It's a little bit heavier than their normal stuff but the song just makes me shiver. It doesn't really relate to me and my life but I think it's amazing!

My real life...I have finished my Christmas shopping on a trip to the big city - so many malls, so many many people! I don't think I would like to actually live there very much - too busy for my liking hehe.

Exams are finished, it's officially the holidays, and I feel completely free:)

its ironic that i stumbled that wonderwall image because my....favourite school band :) played that song and it was just beautiful. they also played sweet child o' mine, and i loved that to bits as well:)

yay it's the holidays! or, as my principal so charmingly put it "study break" hmmmmmmm but i will like to have some fun too! i already have - i went skiing yesterday, followed by a swim in blissful hotpools! mmmm it was so much fun!
